Zach walked out the Promenade and sat on the park bench. He sighed and looked around. He felt so bored and alone. Even though Emrys was there for him he still felt alone. Shfiting he laid more on the bench so he could put his ankel up. It still hurt like hell.
Pulling his hoodie up he sighed more and tipped his head back. He felt the need to do the damn drugs again and it sucked because that why he was here. Because of them. As his thoughts got deeper he fell asleep

I am outside And I've been waiting for the sun With my wide eyes I've seen worlds that don't belong My mouth is dry with words I cannot verbalize Tell me why we live like this
"So many people, so little time, god dammit!" Addy let out an aggravated growl as she pushed her way through a throng of people. The end of her anklet had broken off the day before and was now digging into her skin painfully, but she couldn't stop to fix it. She grimaced as she made her way through the crowd and was half tempted to smack a very slow woman with the huge scarf she had hanging around her neck. What was it with older people and killing animals to have an extra adornment they called clothing? It was cruelty in Addison's opinion, being the treehugger she was. She made sure to give the woman an extremely necessary glare as she passed. "That's for the little fox you killed to have that damn thing hanging around your neck, you old hag..." she hissed under her breath and she secretly hoped the old witch and a few others heard that remark, too. If they did, they just didn't give a rat's ass, apparently. In spite of herself, Addy smiled anyway.
After limping what seemed like miles to a bench, Addison sat and lifted her ankle onto her lap to inspect the damage. "Ow, ow, fuckedy ow!" she remarked with a rather loud voice. She winced as she noticed a sleeping body beside her and then turned back to the injury. The metal wasn't very far into the skin, but it had started bleeding pretty badly to the point where she couldn't really see the metallic gleam. "Oh, this is such bullshit!" she muttered to herself before throwing her head back to look into the sky. "God, you must've been in some mood today, huh?" she basically yelled. Taking a deep sigh, she began to slowly attempt to work the metal out of her ankle while trying not to look too much. Blood wasn't her favorite thing to look at, and she felt extremely dizzy.

Zach jumped up in the air. "Who what when?" He said and looked around. He sighed softly and then saw Addy. "Oh hello." He said to her and sat up a bit. "You ok?" He asked and saw her ankel. "Here let me look at it I know first aid." He said softly and rubbed his sleeve on his nose as it satarted to run. He sniffled a bit and sighed.

Keep me safe inside Your arms like towers Tower over me A small scream of surprise escaped Addy as the person beside her jumped up. Her wide eyes watched him as he looked around and then spotted her. She took a deep breath and smiled for a few moments, forgetting about the huge pain in her ankle. "Hi, there. Holy shiz, don't have a spaz attack, okayz?" She laughed a little and then brought her attention back to her ankle, which was still bleeding a little profusely. "Oh, this? Yeah...not so great. It broke yesterday, as in the anklet, but all those freaking people up there wouldn't let me stop for anything, so I finally made it to somewhere I could sit and well...here I am!" After the guy said he knew first aid, she flashed him a grateful smile and swung around so her ankle was laying on his lap.
"And yeah, I'm fine. I'm just having a really bitchin' time today..." she muttered with sarcasm oozing from every letter of the statement. She then rested her head on the bench and closed her eyes, trying to ignore the throbbing pain of that damn anklet. Why did she buy it, again? Stupid cheap thing. She threw her arm over her eyes in a dramatic movement and sighed again. "I really appreciate this. God knows what would be happening if this bench happened to be empty, right? I mean, no one would be nice enough to stop by and offer a helping hand, I know that. I mean, I saw a woman with practically a dead fox hanging around her neck like an ornament! A dead fox! Who would kill such a harmless, innocent animal and then walk around in public and call it clothing? And...oh jeez, I'm rambling and probably talking your ear off, so I'll stop." With a grin, she took her arm off her eyes and looked back at him again. "Oh, and by the way, I'm Addy. Addison Bell."

He laughed as she rambled on and looked at her ankel. "So an activist I see?" He said to her and leaned over grabbing his bag he pulled out his first aid kit. Taking out some freezing soultion he rubbed it on her cut. He then took the tweazer and too the anklet off of her and stitched it up for her. "There ya go good as new." He said to her. "I don't know if I said this befor but I am Zach. Zach Warren." He said

Yeah Cause we are broken What must we do to restore Our innocence
"So an activist I see?"
[/i] "Hmmm...an activist?" Addy stared up at the clouds with her mouth in a thinking position. That was actually a pretty good way to describe her, to be honest. With a shrug, she answered, "Pretty much! I really care about the enviorment! Who doesn't? Well, I guess a few cold-hearted people...but I don't know any who are that bad, so I guess I'm safe for now. Maybe that woman back there was....who knows?" She twisted a piece of hair around her finger in deep thought as Zach rubbed some freezing solution on her cut. It felt a lot better now and she felt lucky she had run into someone who knew what they were doing. There ya go good as new."[/i] Addison sat up and placed her feet gently on the concrete below them. "Thanks a lot, Z!" She felt the need to give nicknames to every single person she'd met and she wasn't about to stop now. "I really appreciate it! Here...hang on..." With this say, she dug into her pocket to find her wallet. She had to repay him - who knew where she would've been without him?[/blockquote][/blockquote][/size]

Zach shook his head. "Hey hey no no." He said. "Put that way. I don't want your money ok?" He said to her and shook his head at her. "I really don't want your money so please don't give it to me." He said and shook his head again. "I don't want your money ok?" He said to her. "I mean I did it out of the kindness of my heart." He said

I am outside And I've been waiting for the sun With my wide eyes I've seen worlds that don't belong My mouth is dry with words I cannot verbalize Tell me why we live like this With a frown, Addy slowly slid the wallet back into her pocket. Maybe money wasn't the smartest way to get him back for his kindness. She would just buy him something, like a Coke. "Well...okay, I won't pay you, but there has to be some way. If I don't do something, I'll die and still feel guilty about this day. How about I buy you a Coke or a pretzel from that stand over there?" She tilted her head in the direction she was speaking of with a smile and nudged him with her elbow. "C'mon, at least let me do something. I'll feel really bad if I don't. Please?"

Zach sighed. "Alright alright." He said to her and shook his head. The vendor smiled at them. "Here you go you lovely couple." He said and passed them a pretzle each. Zach gave a look to Addy not sure what to say. So instead of saying anythin at all he just bit into his pretzle and looked at her agian.

I am outside And I've been waiting for the sun With my wide eyes I've seen worlds that don't belong My mouth is dry with words I cannot verbalize Tell me why we live like this With the pretzel in one hand, Addy dug her wallet out of her pocket and handed the necessary cash to the vender. With a smile, she took a bite of the pretzel and tilted her head toward Zach. "Nah, me and Z, we're just friends, you know?" She looked back at Zach as he looked at her and laughed. "Thanks again," she said to the old fellow as she turned and walked in the other direction. She tested her ankle by putting a bit of weight on it - the first aid kit had done its job. She could now easily move around without worrying about metal puncturing her skin. What a relief. "Yo, Z, thanks again. It's nice to be able to walk without a limp, y'know?" she said while taking another bite of the pretzel.

He laughe and nodded. "You don't have to be walking on one leg." He said and ate some of his pretzle too and smiled at her. "So what you do for fun? Other than be a big time activist?" He asked as he took a sip of his pop and then burped a bit. Laughing he smiled at her. "Well that came up very well if I do say so myself." He said with a grin and yawned a bit. "God I don't know why I am so tired."
