` ` open up your EYES
i want to watch you CRY
` ` open
[/blockquote][/blockquote]kitty rolled over and found the sun streaming on her face, not the best sensation when you're hungover, and kitty knew that alright. she hadn't been at crescent hill academy long, but she'd already established where the good drink and parties were held. and as a fact when there were parties, kitty was there. mingling with new people, more than likely drugged up, too. and afterwards, she always had the worst hangover ever. but, at the moment, it wasn't the hangover that bothered her, it was the sunlight.
after she had squeezed her eyes a few times kitty was fully awake, still slightly drunk, but definitely awake. it took her a few times to get out of bed, but that was a record even for her. eventually, after a good five minutes, kitty stood up from her bed and looked around her room, well, her dorm, she should call it. there was a clump of clothes were she'd obviously thrown them off the night before. quickly, she checked if she was dressed at all. surprisingly, she was. it was strange for kitty, but it seemed as though she'd actually opened her drawer and put on her pjs.
yawning and stretching her muscles in her back, she walked over to the massive mirror on the wall. what she saw was a bad sight; definitely. her bleach blonde hair was fizzed up and desperately needed brushing. she ran a hand through her hair and winced as it got caught up in all of the knots dotted about in her hair. now it was even more obvious she needed it brushing, or at least combing through.
it took her around an hour or so to get dressed out of her pjs and into decent clothes for the day and then another ten minutes to brush her hair and get all of the knots out of it. oh and of course, then straightening her hair took even longer, too.
it was dead on 10:30 the moment she walked out of the door and into the halls. when she set foot downstairs, all she could smell was breakfast and her stomach churned. it was a well known rule that every time kitty had a hangover, she threw food out of the window. she just couldn't eat it, once she'd tried to, ignoring her stomach and let's just say, that didn't work out very well, not at all. so she'd leaned to listen to her stomach, whatever it said went in kitty's world. so instead of going in the cafeteria like they all forced the students to here, kitty made a b-line outside.
once outside, her stomach calmed down and the sweet scent of dew was apparent in the air. kitty took a deep breath in and felt calm and happy.the smell of dew in the mornings always did that to her, it was a usual occurrence in her life.
deciding to have a walk to the park, kitty set off and pushed her iPod earphones into her ears, automatically. as she had the tune of mindless self indulgence's never wanted to dance streaming through her ears as she walked casually to the park. it was true she'd only been at crescent hill academy a few days, but she knew the area well enough anyway.
eventually, she opened the massive black wrought iron gate and stepped into the park. the beautiful trails of leaves on the floor and the bright green of the bushes and trees around her. a fair few people were there already and kitty liked that, being secure in a large environment. their different hair colours were spotted out a mile away and their clothes, too. everyone here looked completely different, that, kitty liked even more than the secure environment.
taking in the park views, kitty found a bench and sat down, relaxing on the wooden planks supporting her, with cobra starship's the city is at war banging in her eardrums.
