kristy walked into the student lounge. she was wearing tight black jeans, a purple and peach shirt with her vans. she was also listening to her iPod. kristy was listening to mayday parade. she was lost in the music. she barely was watching her step. finally, she turned off her iPod when she smashed into a wall. she sat down on the closet chair and turned her iPod back on again. now that she was sitting down, she was to make sure that she wasn't going to fall over.
she was there for about thirty minutes. kristy didn't want to fall asleep so she got up and started walking towards the door. when she was half-way across the room someone tripped her an she fell over. she could hear some people laughing. when she got up her bangs were a mess. as she was fixing her hair she said, "ha-ha. very funny." to the unknown person.

Everything was all good, Seth was having a good laugh with his mates, being in his overly hyperactive mood that fine evening. They were practically bouncing off the walls, and their loud voices were beginning to scare students out of the student lounge. They continued to give fleeting glances towards the door, just in case someone had gone and gotten a member of the staff.
Seth was seated cross-legged on a chair, listening half-heartedly to his friend recount some amusing story. His eyes traced the room, the few forms that sat seated outside their group. And then he saw her. Kristy. A crooked smile played its way across Seth's face, and he hopped up from the chair as she climbed to her feet. It was genius, the plan already in motion in his head. As she began to pass him, not even noticing his presence, Seth's foot slinked out, catching hers automatically. She hit the ground, and the few members of his group that had noticed cracked up immediately. Kristy's hands flew over her hair as she fixed it. "Ha-ha very funny."
Standing a little more taller, Seth crossed his arms, cocking a smile. "Yeah, I'm downright hilarious." He bent a little to look her in the face. "Hey Vander, how's the Sophomore life?"

now that kristy's hair was ok she heard him say, "yeah, I'm downright hilarious. hey vander, how's the sophomore life?" "it's great that you're not there. then again, i'm surprised you even passes freshman yeah." she replied with attitude. kristy stood up straight to. he wasn't that much taller then her. "aw. looks like baby seth grew!" kristy said in a baby voice and rolled her eyes.
she looked over his shoulder and saw that seth's usual group of idiots were talking. "i can see that your usuall group of idiots are still following you around." kristy said in a louder tone for his friends to hear.

Seth faltered slightly at the pace and severity in which Kristy tossed his words back at him; it didn't help that she too made his mates roar with laughter. "Well have fun." He leant against the back of the chair behind him, and frowned. "Maybe, but you're still a squirt, Vander." His mates laughed at that too; what were they, high on V? Seth kept his expression vacant as she raised herself to look behind him.
Her next remark made Seth's mates boo and call obscene phrases at her, not exactly a good argument in justifying their intelligence. Seth rolled his eyes, beginning to question why he hung around with them and not something like Vander there, someone remotely intelligent. But he wasn't going to let her know that. He placed a hand on her head, looking cleanly over it. He looked behind her, and raised his hand over his eyes to see far. Seth leant back, crossing his arms once again. "And I see that no one's following you around. Still stuck in a loner life, huh?"

"and I see that no one's following you around. still stuck in a loner life, huh?" kristy rolled her eyes. "i'd rather be left alone then stalked twenty four seven." she said in a 'you know i'm right' sort of tone. kristy rolled her eyes again because the guys behind seth we're making saying stupid stuff and calling her names. "do they ever shut up? it's like whatever you say they make your own special sound effects." she stated a little annoyed.
she was thinking about what he had said. loner life. kristy hated to admit it, but he was kind of true. she usually spent time in her dorm on the computer or writing songs. she barely ever left the school campus. she really had no other choice because it was her first year her. she used to go to school in california. she missed it there. anyway, kristy was staring at her feet. one, she didn't feel like looking and seth and she wanted to make sure he wasn't going to trip her again.

"Hm." Seth rolled his eyes at Kristy's comment about being stalked twenty-four-seven. She was right. Seth silently hated the times when he actually wanted to be left alone and he was being followed around by his brainless posse. But he was never going to admit that to anyone; aside from Asphodel of course, but that never really counted. The guys behind him were continuing to try and push buttons, and from what she said next, Seth wondered if maybe the gag was stretching a little far. They did know that he liked picking on her for fun, right?
He was almost amused at the annoyance in her tone. He smirked. "It's like they're my inner mind tormenting you." He laughed slightly. "Nice." He shrugged a little, wrinkling his nose at her derisively. "I didn't know I got to you so much." Seth of course was assuming this, since he figured, if he didn't, then she wouldn't fight back as hard. There were even times when he was absolutely pissed off when Kristy would just be there at the wrong time, and she'd cop a mouthful. Then again, around the time he'd first met her, the fact she even spoke back got to him. But he'd adjusted rather quickly.
He'd been wondering whether he could catch her feet again, maybe if she'd stormed off and away. But now, she was staring at her feet, a clear dampener on his plan. He had to get her before she went...Maybe. It was very rare for Seth to actually go to trip her more than once, but he assumed that she hadn't caught on to that. He cocked an eyebrow, letting the words slip from his lips. "What? Trying to see if you put the right shoe on your right foot instead of your left? I thought only four-year-olds had to do that."

kristy rolled her eyes at seth's last comments. "and i thought only four - year olds made stupid comments like that." she said as she called her hands together. "i didn't know i got to you so much." she had to think about that one. she wasn't telling herself that she liked being tormented by him. "you don't get to me that much. and if i didn't get to you -" kristy pointed a finger at him. "- so much you would'nt be putting up with me right now." kristy put her finger down. she felt like there should be a crowd behind her saying, "ooooh." but she just wanted to get out of the place. maybe go to her dorm and take a nap. that, or think of a really good name to call him.
she waited for him to say something. anything. "if you don't have anything else to say you can run to a certain... asphodel maybe." she said with a smile. kristy was wrong. she didn't want to go back to her dorm. tourmenting seth was really fun. no wonder why he did it so much.
