The fateful night of August twenty-first, 1985 a man in his twenties invented an idea. Why should all the flashy singers get all the attention. What happens to the ones that have this talent but don't know how to get signed? Enter the life of million of teens. How could such a special talent go to waste.

Enter Epic High Academy, where it's all about the kids. The academy focuses on the kids and the kids need. However, there's always a secret.

What's the secret you ask? Epic High Academy recruits performers under their record label. Isn't it everyone's dream to get signed under a famous record? But shhh, keep it on the down low. To all the students Epic High Academy is just another academy, to the teachers it's a place filled with talent. Every year there is always a few people picked from the graduating class to get signed. They make their way up the ladder of fame.

Of course, no one knows about this secret. Well, except a few. Who are the few you ask? The notorious Queen Bees that is. How? Simply because they had family attend Epic High Academy and ended up getting signed. The Queen Bees rule the school, and everything around them. They boss around the Baby Queen Bees and take control. Now like at any other academy the school is split up into cliques.
